Laura Barber is an Assistive Technology Professional who works with all clients with various abilities to help improve function, mobility, and general well-being. Laura understands that the acquisition of specific durable medical equipment can significantly improve one's mental and physical capabilities.

Having a degree in Occupational Therapy, Laura grew to learn and love her specialty for seating and mobility while practicing with various diagnoses, particularly those associated with neurologic conditions.

She received her masters degree in Occupational Therapy from The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and her bachelors degree in Exercise Science from Auburn University.

Laura's transition to the complex rehabilitation world has been seamless in knowing that the mission of her employer, Action Seating and Mobility, pairs well with her passion and service. The support from her Action team continues to fuel the true "client first" mentality. Laura is, indeed, committed to serving her clients and family members by building trust, establishing rapport, and maximizing her efforts in both the clinic and community settings.
